I hope everyone is enjoying this Friday. Sorry, for all of you allergy sufferers. This is a very bad season. Anyway, I hope that we all start using the blog to post ideas and useful (or un-useful) information.
Does anyone have some really great ideas or even some okay ideas about how you are getting students to not only turn in homework daily, but turn in quality homework?
In response to the homework issue, until we insist that homework be completed and set consequences for not completing it ('0' grade that remains after alloted time to submit passes), the students think it's a joke. Once my students realized I was not going back to change their grades, they started responding. Then too, all teachers have to be on the same page with requiring homework.
